The hotel was a great base for enjoying a really quiet area, so close to magnificent views of lakes and craters and the main shops and access to lake bullen merri. The room was tidy, enjoyed the best bathroom it had. We had a street view. The location was stunning and close to places we visited.

During our visit, we loved the location and its proximity to the botanical gardens, where we spent most of our time. the views of the volcanic lakes were breathtaking and added a touch of uniqueness to our trip away from the coastline. We appreciated the tranquility of the setting, perfect for relaxing after long days exploring. the weather was lovely, which allowed us to explore the park properly.
The cabins were not the most modern we've ever stayed in, but they were small, dust-free and comfortable, making sure we did not feel like we were in a cookie-cutter chain hotel. Although there were problems with the DVD players, the owner was incredibly helpful and resolved the issues we had as quickly as possible.

Spent Christmas here and enjoyed the festive vibes. Took advantage of the hotel's proximity to the lake and botanical gardens, both offering stunning views and peaceful surroundings. Also appreciated the helpful staff who provided good service and made us feel welcome.
The overall experience fell short of our expectations. the cabin provided wasn't spacious enough for the price we paid.

The ruggedness of the surrounding areas was definitely the highlight of our stay. We were blown away by the picturesque lake nearby, which was an incredible spot for fishing. We also appreciated how well-maintained the park was despite the remoteness of the location. the friendly staff added more charm to our stay.
Although the stunning location was an absolute delight, we were let down by the durability of the cabins. The cabins were basic and cramped, restricting our movements.
